Asian Green Beans

If I crave anything in this life it is the green beans from the buffet of any Chinese restaurant!

Making my green beans tonight I realized I had the stuff on hand to try and replicate them... let me just say... they are GOOD!

Some ingredients may not be something you use often, but they are ingredients that will never ever go bad on you in the refrigerator!

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AN IRON SKILLET BUY ONE!!!! Especially if you follow me, I use one almost every day.

I am addicted to Sam’s brand whole frozen green beans, GB or whatever brand Walmart has should be just fine! I like using frozen because I cook them pretty quick and I do like mine a little more tender, where as a fresh would still be very crunchy. If you like that, you do you!!

1 bag whole green beans, frozen

1 tbs bacon grease (or oil)

1 tsp worcestershire Sauce

1 tsp hoisin sauce

1 tbs red cooking wine

1 tsp minced garlic

1 tsp rice vinegar

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tsp dry minced onion

heat oil in cast iron over medium high heat. Add in green beans, add garlic and let cook for a minute or two stirring around. Add remaining ingredients and let all liquid reduce, stir green beans to full coat. Salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 5-6 minutes and serve!
