Broccoli Salad




You will absolutely LOVE this salad! Super easy, and a perfect complement to any summer meal.


You need:


1 crown broccoli

1/2 cup sharp cheddar shredded or cubes

1/4 cup bacon, crisp and crumbled

1/2 red onion, chopped

3/4 cup mayonnaise

1 tbs apple cider vinegar

2 tbs sugar

2 tbs milk

salt to taste

A LOT of black pepper


•you can adjust the sugar and vinegar to your liking. Some like sweeter, some like more vinegar•

Chop broccoli pretty small, takes the dressing better when smaller. cook bacon and drain on paper towels and let crisp. Crumble. Chop onion and shred or cube cheese.


in a large bowl mix Mayo, milk, sugar, vinegar, pepper, salt. Place in the broccoli, cheese, onion and bacon.

Toss to combine.

Best if chilled at least two hours. Can be eaten immediately. Even better the next day and hold up to the dressing well.


* Add walnuts or raisins for another crunch and sweet element.


Shout out to Mama who made this for years and I always said I didn’t like, but now I can eat it every day!!!
